The strategy in a sentence:
We created a secret Minecraft server called "The League Of Hearoes" to house the largest community of deaf teens in Australia.
This piece of work started out as a submission for the NGEN media federation award in 2017. My partner Nolan Yu and I were lucky enough to win. Since then we have worked hand-in-hand with the charity "Hear For You" to turn this idea into a reality. We have had over 50 in-game mentoring sessions with over 500 teens attending in total. We've turned offline connections into real life friendships.

We recently pitched our project to Microsoft (owner of Minecraft) to create a partnership that will see $200k come to support the Hear For You charity.

The League Of Heraroes is still alive and thriving to this day, connecting hard of hearing teens across Australia.
